Renovate cottage

The roof of the hut failing part, because the roof was originally built to be a birch-bark roof, but now it is added tiled roof on top.

In order to do something about it, I will, among other things, set up a cross that will shore up the beams of the roof .

Tried to show how the idea is in the drawing below.

The light brown round things must illustrate the rafters, and the dark brown stuff the beams that will support the rafters.

Here lies one beam assignments at the house. What is not visible is that my little worn skruttbil have had to drag it there. It went well, but a tractor probably would have been better, or at least not as worn tires.

After that we put there a few logs on tvärsen and baxade up both beams at them. Then we put on some plates pap rafters, secured them with ropes and stones.

Now they are left to dry in the summer when I need them.
